Check out the Small Works Silent Auction online

All TAEA members and the broader art education community are invited to join us in prepping for the Texas Art Education Association Conference 2021 at Kalahari Resorts & Convention Center in Round Rock, TX on November 4-6, 2021.

Small Works, a silent auction will raise funds for student scholarships and grants from the Association facilitated by our philanthropic arm and sister non-profit, the Texas Art Education Association.  Impact Texas art education by creating and donating a small work in a 5×5 (2D format) or 5x5x5 (3D format).

Completed works can be brought to Conference and dropped off (starting Nov. 4th at 4pm outside the Acacia Room on the Lower Level) or you can mail your work for arrival prior to Nov. 1, 2021 to:

5×5 Canvases Purchase Example (Don’t forget to purchase via Amazon Smile and benefit Texas Art Education Association – impact your giving through your purchase!)

Ideas:

Paint a 5×5 canvas based on your artistic practice and subjects.

Create a small sculpture or ceramics piece that fits within a 5x5x5 measurement.

Host a summer gathering of colleagues to make 5×5’s together – Art Party!

Share your process or post a pic via social media with the #taef5x5 and @txarted on all social media.

Know a Round Rock Art Educator, they are masters at 5×5 and have been funding student scholarships for years – connect with your favorite colleague.  A 5×5 is very Round Rock Art!
